The Mike Norris Jazz Orchestra appears annually at the JM Lexus Sunday Brunch, The ‘All That Jazz; Annual Spring Jazz Festival, and yearly concerts and shows at the palace at Tamarc. Future shows include the jazz concert series at the Curtiss Mansion Miami Lakes, and the Smithsonian Water Event at Curtiss Mansion.
‘New York At Midnight’ is an exciting opportunity for the orchestra to live up to its mission of keeping the orchestra playing at the top of their game, and delivering outstanding jazz performances to new and jazz thirsty audiences. The program takes you down ‘The Great White Way’. Music by Cole Porter, George Gershwin, and Leonard Bernstein with unique, and some ‘one of a kind’ arrangements in the styles of such legendary jazz performers as Doc Severinson, Count Basie, and Buddy Rich.
